Dinner at Samuel Adams

Since Mama is leaving to go back to NYC on Thursday, Jess' friend Chingman wanted to have dinner with us.

We had dinner at the Samuel Adams restaurant on base, and even though they had decent burgers and sandwiches, we probably won't be visiting again anytime soon.... :X

Chinatown

Today we all went out to Seattle's Little Saigon in the International District for lunch at Tamarind Tree. Even though we'd originally planned to have lunch at the restaurant next door again, we decided that we were too large of a party to be seated comfortably. And it was a good decision, because this restaurant was much more upscale, without the extravagant prices. Anyway, my point is... we'll definitely go back to eat again, and there are no pictures of the food because I was too busy eating to mess with any of that.

After lunch, Jess, Mom, Emma, and I bought lots of Asian groceries and fresh vegs at the neighboring supermarket, Viet Hoa, as well as at Uwajimaya (Japanese supermarket). Steve, Lisa, the girls, Leon, Iris, and the boys went to the Underground Tour in Pioneer Square (all the kids say it was very boring... hehe, and they are 3-12.............)

Emma back home... so hungry

The results on the adults' lane.... HAHAHAHaHAHAHA

The kids' results! Ira won with 98 at the end... But they're all really good because they had the bumper guards! (For a while there, Karrie had a significant lead on all of the other kids........)
