Stephanie's 8th Birthday

Stephanie had a bowling birthday party but I couldn't find any of those pictures. All I could find were these photos taken at the beach afterward.

This was Emma's 1st time at the beach. In fact, she had never walked on sand before. She was a little freaked out by it at first but she got used to it.

Yet Another Day in Jersey

My poor little Emma's eyes looked a little red due to an eye infection (a.k.a. pink eyes or conjunctivitis).

The next WNBA stars!

There she goes climbing again.

Another Fun Filled Day at Steve and Lisa's House

Bao Bao and Emma were playing up in the girls' playroom.

We headed outside to enjoy the sun.

Look at Melodie throwing a pose!

Let's play balls.

Emma with a ball of her size.

Melodie gave Emma another one.

She might just grow up to be a rock climber or a daredevil.

A Day of Fun In and Outdoor

Mui G was happy in the bouncer/saucer/activity center. This piece of equipment dates back to when Stephanie's infanthood (close to 8 years old).

Emma climbed up the coffee table so she could pretend to play the piano. She actually does it with her head-bopping like Ray Charles.

BFF

Emma was running around and having fun.

She loved the kid sofa chairs.

Of course, she also loved climbing it. Bao Bao: "What are you doing, Emmama?"

Playing in Steve and Lisa's backyard.

Mui G was still smiling in the saucer (she had been out of it, I promise).

They are BFF as well.

Bao Bao and Karrie were painting birthday posters for Stephanie's 8th birthday (on 8/31).

Do you like Sam's mustache?

Oh, our sleeping beauty had awaken from her nap and was very excited to hear all the commotion outside.

So she came out and drew one for Stephanie as well.

My little Picasso!

"What ya lookin' at?"

She loves crayons. You will understand when you come visit us in Bremerton and see the mural she has done in our living room...

Do you recognize the sun hat? Doesn't she look cute in it?

The Art of Sharing

Obviously, my baby girl has yet to learn how to share.

Emma was guarding the stool and the bottle of gummy vitamins (her very favorite) from Mui G.

Modern technology has spoiled us all. What did you grow up playing with?

The Carlson-Enloe Wedding

My hairdo with the pretty sakura flowers.

Getting ready for the big moment...so exciting!

We didn't forget about eating, of course.

Look at my Christina!

Getting the veil attached.

Mei Mei and Ma Ma.

The Yokosuka trios. I miss you, girls!

Ji Soo and Mari (a.k.a. Dr Okabe - one of the Japanese interns we met in USNH Yokosuka) were the ones who travelled the furthest to join this happy event.

Emma and her Monkey Monkey.

Don't you love that hat?

Can you spot me?

The groom and his groomsmen.

The very beautiful bridesmaids (myself included, haha...)

The bride and her parents (Dr. Steven and Mrs. Katie Enloe).

Walking down the aisle.

I met Erik's great aunt June. She grew up in Bensonhurst, NY and we found out that we went to the same junior high school - Pershing JHS in Brooklyn, NY.

The newlyweds.

So pretty!

Robert and Kiri Enloe.

The couple with their parents.

The couple with the bridal parties.

Elizabeth (who was pregnant here but didn't look like it) and her husband, Cory.

The Enloe girls.

With Erik's siblings, older sister, Erin and younger brother, Brett.

The toast.

The kiss.

Alex, Emmanuel and Dora are such a beautiful family. Dora and Alex visited Christina in Yokosuka during the same time Sam and Katy were in town. In fact, they even hung out with my cousin from Hong Kong who happened to be visiting as well.

The happy couple.

The cake was beautiful and yummy!

Sam, Emma and Monkey Monkey.

The first dance.

Dora and Emmanuel were dancing the mother-and-son dance.
