Cry Baby

Emma didn't want to take off the princess outfit or go to sleep.

So Stephanie tried to console her.

Rochester Hills, MI

Emma and I spent 2 weeks with my sister-in-law, Lisa, and nieces in Rochester Hills, MI checking out their new house. My parents, Sam, BoBo, Steve and Mui G visited the first weekend we were there so it was rather exciting.
She enjoyed being with the girls.

My toothless Melodie.

Chatting with Chevo.

And she was supervising.

Alderwood Mall Playground

Stealing some water from my mug.
Practicing for Guitar Hero.

We went shopping at Alderwood Mall in Everett so we let her play in the playground. She liked the octopus.

Sharing the slide with the little boy.

She wanted to get on top of the ferry but it was too crowded.

So she went to check out the dial instead.

It was finally her turn to get on the ferry.

She was actually sitting on the chimney.

Riding the seagull.

She was sliding down the whale's head.
"No, I don't want to go! Let me hide so they can't take me away."

Emma's Lion

Emma was very reluctant when I asked her to pose with her lion.

Look at her, such attitude! We just got a toy rake so she was looking forward to playing with it.

No leaves to rake yet.

Concrete worked for her.

I offered to take her backpack but she wouldn't let me.

Now onto the little patch of dirt adjacent to our driveway.

Ringling Brothers Circle

We took Emma to her very 1st circus (she is the silhouette on the left).

Finally looking at the camera.

With mommy.

First Day of Pre-preschool

She was having a little separation anxiety so I stayed with her on the 1st class. Toward the end of class, the teachers took them to the gym for some exercise.

They had a bucket of bouncy balls for the kids to chase around the gym.

Mommy's Jacket

We were going to check out the plants in the yard and I was too lazy to get her jacket so she wore mine.

She sort of fit?

Butchart Garden

We went to Victoria BC for the long weekend. This picture was taken on board the ferry crossing.

It was supposed to rain all weekend but we were lucky so we went straight to the Butchart Garden right after we checked in at the hotel.

The pretty girls...hehe...

She thought we were doing a cover shoot, maybe?

She kept wanting to pick the flowers so I had to warch her carefully.

Checking out the hanging baskets.

She was admiring my favorite part of the park - the Sunken Garden.

Tried to get a picture of her with the garden in the background but oh well...

We staked out a spot on the lawn for the Saturday firework display (last one of the year). We didn't bring a blanket since we didn't plan on staying for the firework. So we ended up buying an emergency mylar blanket at the garden (either this or the 14 CAD wool one).

She was running around and only came by when she wanted snacks.
We had time to kill so we walked around the rest of the garden and picked up some dinners.
Giving daddy a massage.

Peek-a-boo or poke-ur-eyes?

So sweet...

She could dance anywhere and to any music!

Finally...
