Emma & Her New Stroller

We received the stroller earlier today and she started playing with it after I assembled it.

This is a red Zooper Twist umbrella stroller. Kay would approve (of the color).

Emma is also looking into a career as a stuntwoman.

We could attach this video to her portfolio.

She got really upset when her stunt didn't go as planned.

I guess our stuntwoman still needs loving from Mommy...I wish this would never end...

Happy Chinese New Year (Belated)!

She was very happy especially when I said she was pretty in her red dress!

We had lunch buffet at a local Indian restaurant in Bremerton. Oh, did we stuff ourselves!

She went to nap as a beautiful girl celebrating CNY and woke up as Krusty the Clown!

She must have consulted Soy Yee about a future career...

Happy Belated Birthday Song for Sam Sam

She closed the gate on her way up.

But complained as if I did it.

Even started to fake cry.

Finally made her way up.

Happy Belated Birthday, Sam Sam!

Happy Birthday, Sam Sam!

She wore her party hat (or Daddy's khaki cover).

Being Silly

I folded the handkerchief into a triangle and used it as a scarf on her shoulder. I kept telling her that it's 靚靚 (it means pretty in Chinese) and she started to pose for me.

Look at her!

Now as a head scarf.

I love her smile.

Posing again.

My pretty girl.

After lunch, we went to the little playground behind our townhouse.

Getting up to the slide.

Going down the slide.

She went down on a spiral slide on her own!

Getting up for more.

Looking at her dirty hands with lots of pine needles.

A Day Outdoor In Bremerton

First, we stopped to pick up lunch before we headed to the Illahee State Park.

We had Popeye's fried chicken and I brought a homemade meal for Emma.

So we enjoyed our lunch on the pier.

We spent about an hour there and we left as the pier was getting crowded with people fishing.

Daddy took us to another park with a big lawn and a gazebo.

She was so happy running around.

Checking out the gazebo.

The park also has a stairway down to the water.

We were showing her how to skip/throw rocks in the sound.

Playing swords with Daddy.

Playing With Daddy

She decided to wear one of my socks and one of Daddy's.

Daddy was dancing with Eeyore and she with her doll.

A Day in Seattle

We went to Seattle's International District and had lunch at our favorite Vietnamese restaurant, the Tamarind Tree.

Do you like my new nose?

Ah, much better!

Emma & Her Shoes

Emma loves her shoes.

Isn't she a darling? Hehe...yes, I am one of those moms.

The Mysterious Disappearance of My Bamboo Coasters

I am not too sure if this set of coasters were from my mom or my own purchase. The females on the coasters are famous beauties throughout Chinese history.

For the longest time, I was left with only 5 coasters and I kept thinking to myself if they came as a set of 5 like the Japanese or was it 6 (Chinese don't like odd numbers). This went on for over 3 weeks.

Then a few days ago, I was left with only one and the rest were nowhere to be found. I searched through all her toy chests but nada.

On this somewhat normal day, Emma was playing by the fireplace with a few playing cards and she kept looking inside the grille. I was just wondering what she was looking at so I opened the grille...

And you wouldn't believe what I saw!

These were all under the fireplace: the rest of my coasters, playing cards, abc flash cards, empty gift cards and a note card we received from a friend.

Doesn't she look innocent? I wonder how they ended up in there...

Reunited at last...not for long if Emma has her way.

One of the books Auntie Kay had given to Emma.

It's a pretty cool picture book with English and Spanish words.
