Northwest Trek Wildlife Park

A Black bear.

She was comparing the bear's paws to her own.

A couple of wolves.
We also went on a tram tour around a free-roaming area (kind of like the Six Flags Great Adventure Safari except you don't drive your own cars) but I didn't take any good pictures since my primary concern was for Emma not to become one of those free roaming animals.
She fell asleep toward the end of the visit.

They hosted a Slug Fest week during the time of our visit so there were games and activities for the kids. Matt decided to compete in the slug racing for his age group.

Getting ready to become a slug.

Of course we couldn't forget the antenna-like optical tentacles.

He took 1st place.

Emma's Slug Fest tattoo.

"What? I can't hear you!"

She got a hold of my camera. Her pajama pants.

Her feet.

The dining table and knick-knacks on the windowsill.

I don't recall taking this picture so not sure if it's one of her self-portraits or not.

Emma the Ballerina

I found this tutu (it's attached to the leggings) at Macy's in San Diego.

Doesn't she look like a ballerina?

She was twirling...

And admiring her pretty purple tutu.

Highlighter

This is an awesome highlighter with a clever design unless it falls on the wrong hands.

I think we can all guess who those hands belong to...

Pink there, yellow here... The only color she didn't use was the blue.

The assignments that I printed out for Matthew became her drawing papers.

Needless to say, they were never completed.

Chocolate Dipped Waffle Bowl

I had dipped some waffle cones and bowls but since Emma didn't care for ice cream I gave it to her with some grapes. She managed to make a mess, of course!

Showing me her chocolaty hand.

She finished the waffle bowl leaving the grapes behind.

My cry baby.

Silverdale Farmers' Market

Enjoying her lavender lemonade from the farmers' market.

Double Fountains

Emma was putting her trike from BMW and VW to good use by exercise her arms since her legs were not long enough to reach the pedals.

"No more flabby arms, no more flabby arms!"

As soon as I told her that she looked pretty, she proceeded to touch her fountains.

Showing off her double fountains.

"Am I pretty or what?"

Toys R Us

She was getting the chairs ready for Nui Nui, Mui Mui, Ki Ki, Bao Bao, Mui G, BMW, VW, Sai Sai Lov, herself and an extra one just in case.

Then she started to rearrange them but was quickly distracted.

Harborside Fountain Park II

One of the fountains doing its thing.
Emma with the ferry in the background.

"What???"

Emma and Tia/Godmother Christine at the park last August.

Look how much she'd grown!

We took this picture with the self-timer on my camera (thanks, Ibe).

You may notice that Emma's wearing the same onesie. But don't worry, I had changed her since the last time we were at the park. It just happened that I put the same one on her on this day.

She enjoyed laying on the sculpture .

The little boy's name is Nathan. It was so funny because his older brother (5 or 6 years old) was making fun of him saying that Emma was his girlfriend.

"Let me get down now."

Chevo was studying for one of his finals, Matt just got back from playing in the fountains and Miss Emma was stealing from the snack bag.

Before...

After...

She loves to follow him around...

Again...

She had lots of fun!

She knows how to connect the tracks! All thanks to Bao Bao and his train set.

Video Day

First, she moved the chair over to the bar. Then, she snatched my Coach purse!!!

Emma's Blair Witch Project-like cinematography in 3 installments. Viewer discretion is advised: May cause dizziness.

Bubbles, Bubbles, And More Bubbles

She was playing in the backyard with her daddy and Matthew.

She looked like she was dancing.

She loves bubbles!

She loves her bubbles making puppy!

How did she go from a laughing bubbly little girl to this? She wanted me to carry her while I was cooking (okay, I took a little break to take this video).
