Two Weeks!

Today, baby Emma is exactly two weeks old! Mommy Jess and Daddy Chevo brought Emma to her two week check-up. Guess whose little feet these are!

Baby is now 8 lbs, 1 oz!

In the afternoon, we were all forced to play Bingo with Chevo... :'( And being the one who rolls and calls the numbers, Chevo won twice out of two games! Coincidence??

Later on, Ginny came to visit us again.. Was very sweet of her, since she was having knee surgery the next day. But you don't know this crazy girl, she even went to play tennis after leaving....!

Daddy's Little Girl

Emma finally met her daddy for real (instead of on webcam). Chevo's flight arrived early in the morning, and Mommy Jess drove out to Sea-Tac to pick up daddy. Emma looks so comfortable lying on her dad's shoulder...

Maybe because Dad's chest is just as cushy as Mom's?

Emma's Baby Shower

It was a fun night out for us. We went to Jess' baby shower which was thrown by Jess' colleagues in the pharmacy department. They were really thoughtful in all the planning, and brought a ton of presents. But, I think we brought the most important guest of honor to the party......Emma!!! She was a good girl for most of the evening, sleeping soundly while mommy feasted on a smoked salmon linguine. This party was at the Boat Shed, a restaurant in East Bremerton, with an awesome view of the water.

Emma woke up by this time and was starting to get fussy because she was very hungry..

She didn't appreciate us taking group pictures hehe... crying the whole time.. even with her pacifier..
