Today is Emma's 100th day!

As a tribute to Tai Shan, I thought we'd reveal Emma's Chinese name today....

Emma Yee Flores

Emma's entire Chinese name is "Fa Yee." (pronounced fah-yee) If you're wondering what her name means... well, it's very simple. 花 (Fa) means flower, and is a direct translation of her last name, Flores. 兒 (Yee) means child. So Emma's name, 花兒 / Fa Yee, can mean either the Flores child or flower child.

Our 師奶 friend Emily (originally from New York) was in Seattle for business this past weekend, so we met up with her for dinner at Wann's..... (thanks Fei Mei for the gift cert!)

Emma was distracted................ she was pretty tired since it was almost 8pm..
