First Day In Queenstown, New Zealand

Emma was just checking out the mural at the Sydney International Airport.

The view from downtown Queenstown, New Zealand.

We were waiting for our food in the Japanese restaurant where we had dinner.

Wanting for water to play with.

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

We headed to the Sydney Fish Market for lunch.

We posed in front of some very yummy looking fruits and vegetables.

This was our seafood lunch galore. The 5 of us couldn't even finish the whole thing!

Look at the animals that they used for Bank of Australia!

Later, we took the subway/bus to Bondi beach to check it out. Emma was afraid of the sand and water.

It didn't help with me trying to put her down on the water/sand...

We first sat on the sand together...

After playing with her feet in the sand, she got used to the idea and started walking on the beach.

She still didn't like the feel of sand in her hands so she would keep wanting me to clean them up.

As soon as she felt comfortable with the beach, she started her usual...

But she still walked like there's something wrong with her feet.

Before we knew it, she was exploring away from us.

I love this picture of her! And the beach was gorgeous!

With her "Ahmy" (she can't pronounce mommy so this is her version of it).

Happy birthday to you...
Happy birthday to you...

Happy birthday to daddy...
Happy birthday to you...

Grandma had gotten a green tea cake with red beans in the middle for Chevo's 39th birthday. It was yummy!

Blue Mountains

Emma was still tired since we woke up really early to make it to our tour departure time of 7:30am.

This little kangaroo is a few weeks old.

Our first stop, the Featherdale Wildlife Park.

Checking out the animals.

Most of the kangaroos were running around in the park among the visitors.

I think Grandma Long was the only brave enough to handle the snake...

The Koala was too busy eating instead of looking at the camera.

Feeding the kangaroos.

So how do you like her NY Yankee cheerleader outfit from Uncle Erik and Auntie Christina?

There's a baby in the pouch!

Emma was more interested in what's on the ground than the wallabies (smaller species in the kangaroo family).

Look at the little guy/gal!

Ivy and Emma posed with the mama and baby wallabies.

Grandma Long's turn.

The albino kangaroos.

She was wide awake by the time we left for the Blue Mountains.

She even started to play with Uncle Tuan and Auntie Alice.

The Scenic Skyway ride.

Now the Scenic Cableway.

Emma with her cool koala cap.

Emma checked out the scenic views.

Playing with her toes...

Then straight to her mouth!

The ferry came to pick us up heading back to Circular Quay.

With the Sydney skyline in the background.

On the ferry.

Our "home" cooked dinner that evening.

Sydney Bridge Climb

Emma was riding in style on the taxi we took to the Sydney Bridge Climb.

The 3 brave souls that went on the climb.

The training platform.

Emma chillin' with her snack.

During their training.

Alice, Emma and I thought that the climb was about 30-60 minutes long so we waited for them to take pics.

"Hi!"

Posed with Alice.

As it turned out, the climb was 2 hours long!!!

We were able to catch them on their way back.

Yes! Finally!!

Me looking up with the Sydney Opera House in the background.
Emma posed with Ivy who just conquered the bridge behind them.

Emma: before getting what she wanted...

...after getting what she wanted...

She didn't eat anything at the restaurant except fries so we had to get her a $2 AUD banana (equivalent to $1.50 USD)!!! The most expensive banana I'd ever bought!

Posing with the bridge in the background.

She was so happy running around.

Ivy was able to catch her for a photo opt.

She wanted to walk up and down those stairs over and over again...

Can't remember what she did but it must had been funny since the couple behind us thought so, too.

The 路人甲 posed with us.

路人乙 and 丙.

She got out of the high chair and wanted to sit in my chair. So I thought I should show her who was the boss!
