After they helped me put things onto the security checkpoint table, I went on to the gate with Emma alone.. WHO KNEW that Gate A-14 = the farthest and last gate possible??!? I lugged Emma in her car seat while pulling a carry-on luggage with a cooler lunch bag of milk, went to buy some breakfast, and an overpriced soda, and walked as fast as my little legs could carry me to the gate. When I got to the gate, they just started boarding passengers. I confirmed at the counter that there was an empty seat beside me, and brought Emma's car seat onto the flight.
Finally settled down... We had a whole row A,B,C to ourselves!! The flight was very empty and comfortable. Emma sat at the window, I sat in the middle, and a bunch of Emma's stuff sat on the aisle seat. The sky outside was still very dark (this was at ~7AM).
The little piggy was asleep for most of the flight since we woke her up so early to leave for the airport (~4:30AM).

Just before landing.. Emma playing with her pacifier.. All the people around me were nice and asked me if "my" baby was always this quiet! They were surprised because Emma never even cried.. She only fussed once briefly when she was very sleepy. It was a good flight overall, but I was so sleepy too (didn't sleep last night).

Soy Yee, thank you for everything! I wish we could have helped you with Emma all the way to your departure gate, but the Delta Lady would not give us gate passes :(
