Olympic National Park

My good friend, Cheryl, spent a week in the area as she transitioned into the civilian world.

Emma was checking out the Madison Falls at the Olympic National Park. We wanted to hike one of the trails in Hurracane Ridge but there was a rock slide on the road that led to the ridge. So we ended up checking out Elwha and Lake Crescent.

Then we went to the Marymere Falls trails.

Look at the humongous tree trunk!

She just took too long to walk the trail since she had to examine every leave/stick/rock along the way. So we had to load her up into the carrier again.
