Ngong Ping Cable Car To Tian Tan Buddha

Getting ready to board the Ngong Ping cable car from Tung Chung. Emma stayed home with grandma Long for some much needed rest since our nonstop trip so far.

Our ultimate destination.

Being silly in Ngong Ping Village.

The emperor and empress.

The newlyweds.

Posing at the bottom of the Tian Tan Buddha which is the tallest, seated, outdoor bronze Buddha statue in the world. We had to climb 268 steps to get to the feet of the Buddha.

This was toward the end of the Wisdom Path.

We arrived at the giant wood columns which had the Heart Sutra (波羅蜜多心經) inscribed on them.

Then we went back to Avenue of the Stars so Tuan and Alice could take some pictures.
