Whale Watching in Kaikoura

Kaikoura is famous for whale watching. But unfortunately they didn't allow children under 3 so Emma and I stayed behind at the lodge.
Chevo with his Aussie hat and grandma with her sunglasses were looking cool.
A whale...I think.

The tail of a whale...must had been cool to see it in person.
A school of dolphins were swimming really close to the ship.

Look at how many there were!

Emma and I slept in since I was not feeling so well. After we woke up, we went to play with the animals.
These were the 2 dogs they had but I forgot their names... Emma was so smitten by them and followed them around the property.

We were feeding the sheeps and goats and they all surrounded us waiting to get their snacks. She was scared of them...so funny.
She held on to my leg the whole time.
Later in the van...she placed her stinky foot inside the container of orange that grandma gave her.
The ferry we took to get from South Island to the North Island.
Since the journey took over 3 hours the amenities onboard were very extensive. This was the kid's room where there were 2 bunk cribs for nap time.
And right next to the kid's room was the playground.

She was enjoying herself.

But she got a little bit too routy so she was back in her stroller chowing down an apple.

Chillin' with grandma. (I was still sick from the convenient store bought food the night before.)

Playing with her car seat before we disembarked.

She looked so cute in her Snoopy t-shirt from Fong Fong Mi Mi.
Checking out the area by our hotel for a dinner spot in New Zealand's capital city of Wellington.
